Hi People!
We’re Lovable and Likable Lady and Sensational, Sparkling Scottie —and we are delighted to meet you! We are a bonded pair of Bichon mixes, ages 6 and 3, who enjoy each other’s company yet also have distinct personalities.
I, Lady, am a very happy and loving pup! Whether you are gone for a few minutes or longer I greet you with so much love and affection that you’ll know how very important you are to me! My joy at being with you is contagious (in a good way) and I smile to show you how happy I am. I LOVE going for walks (the more, the better) and am fine with the other pups we meet and see, I also like to go for rides in the car. Since I arrived at my foster home I’m learning these things called ‘commands’ and showing how smart I am (and responsive too!) I’m housebroken, sleep through the night and am very adaptable to new situations. In short, I’m a happy camper!
My little sister Scottie (well, she is not really my actual sister but she thinks of me as her big sis) is a mellow and calm sweetie pie, with big brown eyes and silver-tinged ears. Dad says she is such a well-mannered, obedient and calm pup who defers to me but also loves and enjoys attention. Mom says Scottie is endearing because she doesn’t demand attention but draws you in because she is patient. She is housebroken, rarely barks, gets along with other pups in the neighborhood and is good with children. Scottie listens well, loves to ride in the car and go for walks. Mom and Dad agree that Scottie is easy going, not demanding, responds to love and affection with delight and is a sweet companion.
We are the best of friends and care deeply about each other. We recently became FurKids when our human Mom went to the hospital then never came home. That made us very sad because she was a good mom with a great heart (for us dogs, that is, for sure!) The last year or so she couldn’t care for us properly so we didn’t get our daily walks and were fed some pretty bad food. We have rebounded from that sad experience and appreciate the loving care we are receiving from our foster parents, as well as lots of walks, rides in the car and some really good food. We’ve also been to the vet and are ready for our forever home where we can love and be loved.

My Ideal Home:
- Someone home most of the time
- An active, loving family
- Adults are okay too
Experience Level:
- Have had dogs as an adult
- Recent/current dog experience a plus
So if we sound like the kind of pups you are looking for, we would be happy to meet you and show you what we’re all about! In the meantime we will continue to enjoy our foster family and the life of a FurKid.
Tail wags and kisses,
Lovable and Likable Lady and Sensational, Sparkling Scottie
We are Muppet and Willie Wonka, two darling young pups. Our foster parents said to tell you that I, Willie, am a goofy little Havanese mix bundle of love and energy and that Muppet is a silly and playful, long-legged malti-poo. We weigh ten pounds each and are amazingly fun to be around.
Now for my best friend, Muppet. Mom says he is a sweet little guy that he has the cutest ways about him. He loves to snuggle in your arms and around your neck whenever he gets the chance. Muppet also loves his little bones and chew toys. Mom says he does have one trait that will make you smile. You see Muppet likes to hide bones and toys everywhere and knows how, and where, to find them. (He says you can never have too many bones for a rainy day!) Muppet is smart, entertaining and really good figuring out how to get attention — and I have the personality and adoring looks that will melt anyone’s heart the first time they meet me.

So if you are interested in meeting the two of us, (please know that we will only be adopted together) please first send an email indicating your experience and history with young pups. If there is an alignment between what you share and what we need, a volunteer will be back in touch to ask you to complete an adoption application. You may send that email to
I am happy romping around playing with doggie toys or snuggling with Jodie. I also like to try to wrestle with my doggy foster sister. Dad says sometimes it’s a three ring circus at our house. Mom says that Jodie and I like to play with one another and that I’m the “initiator. She says that when we are finished with all that ‘play stuff’, we lie down quietly and take a nap together- happy to have worn off some of our puppy energy!)
Dad says I’m more of the “explorer dog” type – and that the back yard is a perfect place for me to do that. He says that both of us like to hang out in his office while he works (and we snuggle) then we give doggy kisses because both of us LOVE to be with people!) Oh and there is something REALLY cute that we both do! (Well, there are actually LOTS of cute things we do but (drum roll please!) we like to watch dogs on TV! We will sit for minutes on end to watch any dog that happens to be on any channel. We cock our heads and listen for all we are worth (and that’s a lot!) Mom and Dad think that we are super smart, too.
Now for my sister, Jodie…Mom says she is a sweet little angel and that she has the cutest ways about her. If you sit down to read a book or watch TV, Jodie will curl up next to you and stay there forever. Dad says that Jodie has a very sweet and playful spirit – and if you meet her in person, you will fall in love with her big brown eyes and all they communicate. Well, I think she’s pretty cute too but I don’t know that her eyes are more expressive than mine, Come on now, Dad.
When Bichon FurKids found us we were pretty scared, very skinny and were terribly matted as well. We had somehow survived living on the streets- despite how little we are! Now Jodie and I are brave, not scared, and our hair is growing back beautifully (after being shaved quite a bit). We are drinking good water and eating good food! (Mom says no table scraps) and we have a yard to run and sun in and doggy foster siblings to play with if we choose. And we are smart and SO want to please! We mastered the doggy door already and know to go outside to do our ‘business’, then come in and sit nicely for a treat!

As for my brother Donny, Mom says he is a sweet and shy guy whose personality is just now starting to ‘emerge’ and who has the cutest ways about him. Donny is curious about everything and is a first class ‘observer.’ (Mom says he likes to carefully watch the world around him.) He makes great eye contact, has the softest coat you will ever, ever want to pet, is super gentle and loyal with a capital L! Whatever I do, Donny wants to also do. While he is still more shy, with a little bit of coaxing Donny is becoming more brave and confident every day.
Now you’ve probably figured out that we’re both good about the snuggling part. We love to be cuddled separately of course, and to also snuggle with each other. We don’t understand why, other than feeding us, Mom and Dad would want to do anything else!
