Hello People,
My name is Georgie although Auntie Marti calls me Gorgeous George. She says I’m a very handsome and delightful guy of about nine who always has a smile on my face because LIFE IS GOOD!! Mom says I am fostered in San Diego and am 9 years young. I’m so gorgeous that people always approach me – and I’m so approachable that it’s a good thing! Besides being handsome and happy, I have a great personality and temperament. Did I mention that I’m also friendly? Sound good? Then please read on!
Dad says to tell you that I’m agile and active – and that I’m also housebroken, love my walks and rides in the car. (I’d really like to drive but he says I’m not big enough.) Not to brag, but I’m an amazing rider. Why, with the window down and the breeze in my hair, my smile gets even bigger and happier!
Speaking of which, Mom says I love to meet and greet people more than anything in the world! I’m all about being loved by people—big people and little people—and everyone in between. Speaking of little people, when I meet children, I approach them very gently and lick their hands to get attention. Mom says that’s respectful and shows that I’m mellow and well-behaved.
Did I mention that I love to cuddle? Whether it’s in the Big People’s Bed, on the couch, or in the car, whenever I can be near you, that’s my ‘spoiling humans time.’ I will lay my head on your chest or sit in your lap and enjoy showing love to my human. You see, human touch and interaction are what make me happiest. That and being with my foster doggy siblings! I really, really enjoy being in a pack. Then, I can show love to both human and canine friends.
Can you see what a great companion I am?
Dad says I’m smart and already know commands like sit, come, and down. But I’d love to learn more. Will you teach me? I’m ready, willing, and oh-so-able!
Mom thinks I would do well in almost any situation where I can give and receive lots of love and attention! So, if you’re interested in a gorgeous boy who is loving, curious, happy, and mellow, then ask for Georgie. I’ll be waiting!
Wags and hugs,
Gorgeous (and Gentle) Georgie

Mom says I’m a great walker who loves cool mornings and early evenings. I like to take long walks around the lake –and love meeting people and pups along the way. Going to the dog park is also one of my most special things to do. It truly makes my day! There are always new friends to get to know and both the ones called ‘humans’ and those called ‘pups’ all fall in love with me (The two-legged ones tell Mom and Dad how amazing I am, too!)

My foster Mom says I’m very intelligent (I know commands including come, stay, sit, down, dance (twirl your finger), go potty, down, and ball. In fact, I will definitely become your new best friend if you play ball with me! My foster Dad says to tell you that I LOVE LOVE LOVE to play ball (did I mention that already? Well I truly do!), LOVE to go on walks, LOVE to ride in the car and LOVE treats. And I LOVE to be petted and will roll over for a belly rub any time and anywhere!
I love to cuddle on the couch, greet you with great enthusiasm (even if you only go to the mailbox) share everything you are doing with you and am a great watchdog. I will alert you if I hear anything outside, let you know the doorbell was rung or if there is a strange noise in the house. Dad says that’s very helpful. I’m not a barker though – just an ‘alerter’.
My sister Patti and I became FurKids after someone dropped us at a shelter without our mom. We were pretty scared, but fortunately, we didn’t have to stay there very long. Then our foster Mom and Dad picked us up and brought us to their home, where there were several pups, including one that was a Momma dog! She is teaching me all about how to be the best little pup I can be. My sister Patti was recently adopted, but I am still available!
I love people – and I love other dogs. I also love to play (well, of course, I’m a puppy!) (Please check out my video to see me in action!) Oh and did I mention I am good in the car, learning to be potty trained (already!) and am lots of fun. Dad says I’m cuter than cute and have the most expressive face!
