Hello New Friends,
I’m Bodacious Bailey, a spry and smiley little guy who is on the hunt for a forever family to call my own. I’m a handsome cream-colored pup with apricot ombre on my ears (I know, I’m quite the looker!). Weighing in at a solid 14 pounds, I’m the perfect size for cuddling, but I can also keep up with your active lifestyle. Speaking of which…walks…I might not be ready for marathon walks just yet, but I absolutely love a nice 10-minute stroll around the neighborhood. When I meet other pups on walks, I’m polite and curious, always wagging my tail to say “hi.” And people? I’m definitely a people-dog. When I greet you, I’ll jump up to say hello—but don’t worry, I’m so small, I’m more of a gentle hop than anything.
You might call me a bit of a gymnast! I can jump over tables (no big deal) to land gracefully on the couch. I’ll even spin and dance with excitement when I’m really happy—yep, I know how to put on a show. You know what else makes me happy? Car rides. Just wait until I hop into the car with enthusiasm. I’ll settle down as soon as I’m in, either curled up or sitting pretty in the passenger seat, and I’d be thrilled to go on adventures with you wherever you go!
You might be impressed to know that I also get along well with cats. Kids, especially younger ones, though, make me a bit nervous. I’m just not a fan of their unpredictable energy.
What makes me special?
I’m a bit of a cosmopolitan city boy! I’m totally content in a home with a small patio or balcony. No need for a huge yard—I’d much rather spend my time hanging out with you on the patio or going for walks. And while I’m not much of a ball chaser, I’m happy to play with a tug toy (it’s my idea of a good time). Oh, and did I mention I’m a huge fan of chicken-flavored treats? A guy’s gotta have standards, right?

What I’m working on:
- I’m 95% housebroken and 100% of the time I hold it overnight. I’ll let you know when it’s time to go out. I do sometimes mark things (due to the cat), but I’m learning to be a polite guest in the house.
- I don’t really know many commands yet, but I respond to a little “ah!” if I need a reminder. I’m still figuring it all out, but I’m eager to learn and make you proud!
