Hello World!

I’m Cute, Cuddly and Completely Charming Cami, an adorable little bichon girl who is full of life, love and puppy energy! I’m 18 months old, weigh 15 pounds and stand about 14 inches tall — which Mom says is the perfect size for cuddling (and I definitely agree!).

I am a playful girl who is always excited to see what’s going on around me. Playing is one of the things I do (and LOVE) best! I have relentless energy, and when I find a buddy to play with, we go non-stop! Recently, I made a new BFF (that stands for Best Friend Forever), who was an 8-month-old puppy who weighed 60 pounds – but I was undaunted by her size (and she was undaunted by mine). Then I met another BFF who is a 60-pound one-year-old. We found a play ‘rhythm’ and are having such a great time!

After lots of play, I settle down nicely and take a nap. Then I recharge my battery and am ready to start again! 

My BFK Aunties say I’m sweet, attentive, eager to please and super smart. My trainer says I learn really fast and pay close attention to what she says. I also LOVE to give kisses, look right into your eyes and make you fall in love with me. (It works every time!)

Another of my favorite things is snuggling. I adore curling up on laps, rolling onto my back for belly rubs and soaking up all the love I can get. When I’m not cuddling you know what I’m doing, right? I’m busy playing! I trot around proudly with my toys (every toy is my new best friend!) and I love to play with my doggy brother — sometimes I even “stalk” him to get a game started. It’s all in good fun!

I’m an active girl who enjoys long walks (over a mile, please!), needs more leash training, and would really, really love another young, tolerant, and playful pup in my forever home. I have a big zest for life, and sometimes I get a little too excited, but I’m learning how to regulate my excitement, and I’m working very hard on that!

I ride nicely in the car (yay for adventures!) and I’m learning “house manners”. I’m partially housebroken and getting better every day with consistency and praise. I also know some basic commands like “sit”, “no,” “off,” and I come when I’m called!

Because I’m still such a young, puppy-like girl, I’m looking for a family who has experience with dogs and is excited to continue my training. I’m full of potential and just need the right people to help me shine.

My Ideal Home:
*Someone home often who can help guide me
*Another young, active tolerant and playful dog (over 30 pounds)
*A home committed to training and helping me learn to manage my excitement
*Older, dog-savvy children or an adult home would be best 

Experience Level:
*Have had dogs as an adult
*Recent/current dog experience preferred
*Commitment to ongoing training

I’m a special girl with SO much love to give and I bond closely with my people. I’ll look into your eyes, give you kisses and remind you every single day how much I adore you. And you can tell that
