Hello World!

My name is Charming and Charismatic Chipper, and I’m a handsome 3-year-old bichon, weighing about 20 pounds, with soft white hair, soulful brown eyes, and a personality that’s as warm and lovable as my smile. 

I’m the kind of dog who makes you feel like a million bucks just by walking in the door, even if you’ve only been gone five minutes! I’ll greet you with leaps of joy (yes, I can jump high!), tail wags, and a whole lot of love. My foster mom says my excitement is both gentle and endearing—it’s just my way of showing how happy I am to see you. After a happy hello, I settle down beautifully. I’m an excellent sleeper (crate, pen, or in your bed—your choice!) and I don’t chew on things I shouldn’t. (And that’s a very good thing!) 

I love other dogs of all shapes and sizes and would be happiest in a home with at least one sweet, canine friend to play with. While I get along with many types of dogs, I prefer those with a calmer, friendlier play style—it helps me stay balanced and happy. I’ve also been wonderful with my foster family’s teenage son, so I do well with older kids. With new people, I need a little time to warm up, but once I know you, I’m all cuddles and tail wags from then on. 

I’m fully housebroken, walk beautifully on a leash, and know commands like sit, wait, come, and go in. Car rides are one of my favorite things—I love feeling the wind in my hair while calmly enjoying the ride and would love to go anywhere with you to share new experiences. 

My Ideal Home MUST Have:
– At least one gentle doggy companion
– A family who will appreciate my joyful greetings and affectionate spirit
– Patience for slow introductions with new people

Experience Level:
– Dog-savvy family or individual
– Experienced dog owner(s) who understand the value of giving a pup time to feel secure
