Greetings everyone!

I’m calm and captivating Corey, and I’m a handsome and likable Havanese mix of about three years, that is.  I have white hair and apricot and grey-tipped ears.  (Right now, I am a little short on hair, but Mom assures me it will grow back and I will be more handsome than ever!) I weigh about 15 pounds, do a great Bichon Buzz, and am energetic, smart, and eager to please!

While it’s obvious that I’m a cutie, Dad wants you to know that I’m at my cutest when I play with squeaky toys. I run from one end of the room to the other with puppy energy, and sometimes I get  going so fast that I stumble over my own paws! And when it’s time for my favorite thing (called a WALK) I break out in tap dance with my tippy tappy feet and am raring to go! Mom says when I smell something good in the kitchen, I’ll look at you with the most irresistible eyes, my ears will perk up and you can almost hear me saying “Please!”

 From the moment I arrived at my foster home, I have been outgoing and friendly—so everyone likes to meet and greet me. That includes the smaller dogs we meet on our walks. We politely say ‘Hello’ with a sniff then continue on our way. Like most of my ‘brethern’, however, I think of myself as a big guy – but…. I don’t care for dogs who are bigger than I am. (That’s quite common for us Bichons and Bichon mixes.) With ones my own size I’m comfortable and engaging. When it comes to people (the ones called adults), I’m what you’d call a ‘natural’. 

 I love riding in the car, going for walks, and affection – but I want it on my terms. I’ll let you know if I want to be petted or if I need time to chill or chew on toys. And while I do like being near my special people, I’m not a Velcro dog so you can do what you need to do and know that I’m going to be fine. 

Mom says I am healthy, energetic and smart.  I’m housebroken (which shows how smart I am) and treat motivated! I like to learn things like commands and want to please. I’m always ready to go for a walk, ride, play and have fun. Oh! – and I like to sit with you while you brush my hair, too.

*Someone home most of the time
*An active person or couple
*Adults only
*No children or other dogs

Experience level:
*Have had dogs as an adult
*Recent/current dog experience a plus
*Rescue dog experience a big plus
