Hello New Friends,
My name Faithful and Friendly Finneas, but my foster folks call me Finn. I’m a sweet, shy, playful and curious three-year-old Coton who is learning how it feels to be safe, secure, and loved. I have the softest white hair (of course!), soulful brown eyes, and weigh in at 12 pounds. I’m a bit of a ‘diamond in the rough’ who is becoming more braver every day, and working hard to live the life I was meant to live!
My foster Mom and Dad say I am very smart! Did you know that I mastered the doggy door quickly? And I discovered that, on the other side, there was a wonderful big yard to run in. I didn’t have a yard previously– but in no time at all, I decided I loved it! The sun on my face, the grass under my feet, and all those wonderful plants and smells. Wow! Mom says watching me play “Chase” is seeing pure joy—a fluffy white tail wagging blur racing around the yard.
When playtime is done, I love “Couch & Cuddle” time, back scratches, tummy rubs, and quiet snuggles. I follow Mom everywhere and sit close by —but she still has to catch me for a cuddle. (The good news is that when you catch me, I’ll spend hours sitting contentedly next to you.) If you’re patient and move slowly, I will come close enough for pets. Loud noises and sudden moves are not my favorite, as I’m a guy who likes the quiet life.
I’m learning to walk on a leash and getting pretty good at it. I’m potty trained, LOVE toys and treats (I take treats gently from your hand) — and sleep contentedly in my crate all night, greeting you with a smile in the morning!
Although I have had a lot of exposure to other pups, having other pups around keeps me from bonding with people. I have met children and adults, but am still quite shy. New situations are still scary for me, but every single day I’m making progress. Mom says it’s heartwarming to see me come out of my shell—and bit by bit, I’m learning that people are kind and gentle.

Before I became a FurKid I was pretty unsocialized and untrained – but that was then, and now is now! Today, my heart is open and hopeful.
So if you’re patient and loving and looking for a darling little guy who can bring joy to your life, entertain you with zoomies (as well as quiet, tender moments), I could be your perfect match.
In the meantime, I’ll continue to learn, explore, become more confident, and work very hard on becoming the best version of me.
Tail wags and cuddles,
Finn, Finny or Finneas (I answer to all!)
PS While I may not be ready to jump into your arms on Day One, with patience, love, consistency, and kindness, I’ll blossom into a loving companion who will be devoted to you forever.
