Hi new friends,

My name is Jackie and I’m a happy , active and very athletic Bichon mix who is affectionate and adorable. (I’m not bragging! That’s what everyone says about me!)  I’m a friendly two year old boy who tips the scales at 14 pounds (which is the perfect weight for a bichon!). My Mom says I have the most expressive face and listen attentively when she talks. You see I’m really smart and I don’t want to miss a thing!

Dad says I love (I mean LOVE) to play with my toys. I think of them as my best friends (although I do have four-legged friends too). I carry my toys around and sometimes play fetch with them. And after a time playing actively, I love to cuddle.

My BFK Aunties say that I’m an attentive and adoring companion– and that I truly enjoy LIFE. If you want to walk, I’d like to walk. If you want to go for a ride, just say the word. I love going on any outing. (I call them my adventures!) I truly love my walks and rides! Think of me as your bestest companion for anything you want to do!

While I love people and other pups, I’m also independent, energetic and self-reliant! I can be mellow and patient too, as well as loving and eager to please. Of course I will snuggle with you for hours on end if you want to hang out with a book or watch TV. Yes, I’m all that as well!

My Ideal Home:

*Someone home most of the time
*No other dogs required
*Adults without kids or with kids over 10

Experience level:

*Have had dogs as an adult
*Recent/current dog experience a plus

So if you are looking for a sweet boy who is looking to become your best companion, then you’ve come to the right place! And if you are an adult home or one with older children, that would be perfect. I’m also happy to be an ‘only’ pup and be the center of someone’s world. I promise that you will be the center of mine, too!
