Hello Everyone,

My name is Jax, and I’m a four-year-old Cavachon who needs a very experienced and savvy adopter. I’m more than just a gorgeous boy so please read my bio carefully.  Because I am a “cutie patootie”, I have attracted a lot of interest; however, my BFK Aunties and foster Mom are going to be very selective as to who gets to meet me. 

I’m a fairly quiet and reserved pup around other dogs and new people. Once I am comfortable with you, I can blossom and become a wiggly and happy little guy. It takes time, however, to earn my trust. In my short life, and before I became a FurKid, I lived in two different homes. There was no structure or consistency in my life so I had to fend for myself. I often retreated to any quiet place I could find – away from all the activity and commotion. A home with a loving and patient adopter is what I need in order to become the friendly and cuddly pup I am in my soul.

My foster Mom says I will definitely choose my human and can then become a wonderful and gentle companion. I’m not the kind of pup you can take to an office as that would not work for me. I also cannot be crowded or smothered with love –or expected to automatically be your best friend. 

My Ideal Home

*My very own special person or couple
*An active person or a couple as long as they are home most of the time
*No other dogs and NO children
*No frequent visitors

Experience level:

*Have had dogs as an adult
*Rescue dog experience
*Savvy –and understand dog communication
