Hi People!

My name is Loveable Levi and I’m an adorable and sweet Maltipoo of 7 (years that is) who is ready for my forever family! I’m an affectionate and happy little guy with a tail that has a mind of its own. (It’s almost always wagging!) I love to snuggle, I love to be near my people, and I believe that wherever you go in the house is where I should be, too. After all, why would you go anywhere without your very own fluffy shadow? (I promise I’m much cuter than your actual shadow!)

My foster Mom says I’m a calm, loving boy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. I have two foster doggy siblings (and a cat!) and we all get along just fine. Actually, the pups and I do well together, but I’d prefer a home without a cat. I’m not much of a barker, either, as I prefer to keep the neighborhood gossip to a minimum.

Now, I’m learning a lot about life since I became a FurKid. I’m learning, for example, that I am safe when there are loud noises (they can frighten me initially), and that putting on my harness means I get to go on a walk (which I love.). Mom says it’s important to take things slowly, speak gently to me, and let me know everything is okay. I’m a sensitive little soul and do best when people are patient and kind. Once I feel safe, my happy tail starts going again, and all is right with my world!

I’m also learning the rules of the house. I like going outside to do my business and am working on being fully housebroken. (Honestly, I haven’t broken a thing as I’m a very good boy!) I am making progress every day and love Mom’s patience, consistency, and lots of praise!

Mom says I’m a smart boy, too. I know a few important words, including “stay” and “lay down.” (I’m always willing to discuss the possibility of a treat as payment for my hard work!) Speaking of treats, I’m VERY food motivated. If you happen to be holding a snack, you may notice that I suddenly become the most attentive little pup in the room. I have an excellent appetite and take my treats seriously! 

And guess what else I love? CAR RIDES! I settle into my doggy bed and ride along nicely with my seat belt attached. I’ve even traveled for over an hour quietly and peacefully. But I’m not a couch potato – no sirree! I’m an active little guy who enjoys walks, and when I’m in the backyard, I roll around in the grass. I believe that a little outdoor silliness is good for the soul!

My BFK Aunties say I’m a wonderful combination of sweet and snuggly, calm and happy. I love being with my people! The moment I see you, my tail goes into overdrive, and I may even jump for joy! What can I say? Being with my people makes me happy, and I have plenty of love to give.

I’m looking for a family that enjoys walks, car rides, backyard fun, and plenty of snuggle time.

My Ideal Home:
*Someone home most of the time
*Another active, playful dog to be my companion
*A family with respectful kids would be fine

Experience level:
*Have had dogs as an adult
*Recent/current dog experience a plus
