Hello Everyone!
My name is Lovely, and Loveable Lucy, and I’m an adorable and tiny little girl with a VERY big heart. I’m about 7 years young, weigh just 6½–7 pounds, have soft white hair that is growing in beautifully, and a sweet expression on my face. To say I am every inch the most portable of pals is an understatement! And while. I may be small in stature, but I’m very much in charge (I’m so cute that people always want me with or near them, so I have perfected the art of being the ultimate lap dog!)
If there is a human in the room, you can count on me to be right next to that person — or curled up in their lap. Warm laps are my favorite place in the world, and I take my snuggling duties very seriously. Cuddling and sleeping are my superpowers, and I’m very good at both.

I love treats (soft, chewy ones especially!) and will happily do just about anything for them! After I go outside to potty, I immediately come back over to be picked up — because why walk when you can be carried like a little princess? My foster Mom, however, says that I’m learning to walk on a leash, but truthfully, while I can do that, I much prefer being held. My tiny size makes me the perfect companion, and I’m always happy to go wherever you go.
I ride beautifully in the car and usually just curl up and nap. I’ve traveled long distances without making a peep and wear my seatbelt like a good girl. Restaurants, outings, and even boat adventures? I’ve done those too — calmly and politely.

I’m a mellow little pup who knows how to relax. I love belly rubs, gentle brushing, soft blankets, and being cozy and warm. I like squeaky toys and am becoming a bit more playful (I even toss a ball to myself now and then), but am never rambunctious. You see, I’m affectionate without being demanding.
While I’m good with other dogs and enjoy their company, I don’t need another pup to be happy. I sleep quietly and happily in my crate all night but do wake up slowly in the mornings (let’s just say I’m not a morning ‘person’ 😉). Once I’m fully awake, I’m happy, sweet, and ready to start the day.
I’m friendly with adults and older children and would do best in a home without small children. I may grumble if startled — it’s just my way of saying “please give me a moment.” I promise I’m not mean; I just need my space respected.
I’m housebroken, devoted to my people, and want to please. I have already mastered commands like “sit”, “up”, “come” (especially when treats are involved,) and I know my name. I’ll even jump right into your arms when you say, “Up, Lucy.”
Health-wise, I’m a little pistol. I do need an ointment every day for my eyes, which I don’t like, so I need someone patient with me. I may be a bit hard of hearing (or it may be a bit selective hearing), but I definitely enjoy life. I do struggle a bit with those things called stairs (going up is okay, going down is scary!), so I do best in a home where I can be carried or helped when needed.

I’m a lovebug, snuggler, and a very affectionate little girl. What I want most in the world is someone who enjoys quiet companionship and is looking for a little princess to love, carry, and cherish.
If you’re dreaming of a little shadow who will nap beside you, warm your lap, and fill your days with gentle affection, I could be the one! Please ask for me by name:
