Fostered in Orange County
Hello World,
We are Lucy and Desi, 1 and 2 year old pups who are a bonded pair of fluffy puppies. Our foster parents said to tell you that I, Desi, am the younger one, but because I’m the boy, I think I am a ‘bit’ more in charge (of Lucy, that is) and that I’m an attentive, gentle and adorable little brother, while Lucy is a sweet, little ‘wee bit of a girl.’ We weigh about 13 and 12 pounds now– and have big hearts with lots of love to give.
Lucy’s happy sitting (actually, it’s more like lying) around with my Mom or one of my doggy foster sisters. Dad says sometimes it looks like a giant sleepover at our house. He says that he and Mom call her the ‘cute little couch potato’ ‘cause she tries to cuddle in their laps whenever she has the chance! Mom says that you will want to snuggle with her any chance you get, as she’s just that cute.
As for me, Desi, Mom says I am a sweet, happy, playful little doll with the biggest brown eyes who loves to snuggle in your arms and also ‘explore the grounds.’ While I like to know where Lucy is I’m also a curious little guy with a sense of adventure! I like to engage with my doggy foster sisters and I like to play, too!
Lucy and I also like to lie next to one another wherever we are. I must admit that she is pretty smart and really good at figuring out how to get more attention — but Mom says I am an adoring and gentle little brother with soft brown eyes who watches over her and makes her world a safe place.
Now back to the snuggling part, we love to be cuddled separately of course, but we really love to be held together so we can snuggle with each other and our foster Mom or Dad. (Oh and don’t tell Mom this, but we just love to be held and snuggled by any human.) We personally don’t understand, other than feeding or walking us, why Mom or Dad would want to do anything other than snuggle with us all day long.
We are both potty trained and crate trained. (Dad calls it my ‘man cave’) and I certainly enjoy spending time with those little people called ‘children’. I’m much better with them than Lucy. She prefers being with the ones called ‘adults’. We are also very curious about the world– and how things work. Every day is another opportunity to learn more ways to make the humans around us smile.
Our foster parents have worked very hard to make us feel safe and build our confidence. We are definitely two loving little FurKids who are looking for an amazing home where we can be together.
