Fostered in San Diego

Hello New Friends,
My name is Snuggly and Sociable Snowy and I’m a sweet, soft and very fluffy little fellow of about 10 (years, that is) who weighs a perfectly portable 9 pounds. My foster Mom says I’m the kind of FurKid who doesn’t ask for much—just love, a comfy bed and your companionship.
Because I am so smart and organized, I have this very important job of making sure my people are exactly where they’re supposed to be. I take my “People Supervisor” position very seriously. If you go from the kitchen to the living room, I’ll follow you. If you wander into another room, I’ll quietly check on you. My foster Mom says it’s because I love my people and like knowing everyone is safe and sound. (I think somebody has to keep the family organized and I’m the man for the job!)
I’m basically a mellow little guy who enjoys the quieter things in life. Toys? No thank you. Jumping on the furniture? Not interested. After a day of walking, watching my humans, riding in the car and meeting people, I curl up in my own cozy bed and sleep peacefully through the night. My foster Mom says I’m one of the easiest housemates she has ever known.

Now, if you’re handing out belly rubs, that’s a completely different story! I absolutely LOVE them. I’ll happily wander over to say hello and, before you know it, I’ll be rolling over so you can rub my tummy. Mom says I have that part of life completely figured out. (I happen to agree!)
Another one of my favorite things? Going for rides in the car! Buckle me into my doggie seat belt in the back seat and I’m one happy traveler. Whether we’re going somewhere exciting or just running errands, I’m simply happy to come along for the ride. Ten minutes (not enough) ten hours (that’s fine) or ten days (well I haven’t done that kind of a road trip yet) all is good with me.
I’m also housebroken (which Mom says is a very good thing!) and politely go to the back door when I need to go outside. I’m even learning my commands. Sometimes when you ask me to “sit,” I decide to lie down instead. (What can I say? I know the important part is listening—and besides, lying down is very comfortable!)

Mom says I’m a sweet, happy little guy with very nice manners! I rarely bark, am healthy overall, though I occasionally favor my right leg. When my people leave, I miss them and may sing a short goodbye song for a few minutes. (It’s my way of saying, “Please don’t be gone too long!”)
There is one more thing I’d like you to know about me. Sometimes I’m unsure around those creatures called men, especially when I’ve just met them. I do best when people let me get to know them slowly and don’t rush me. Once I learn that someone is kind and patient, I relax and my sweet personality comes shining through. After all, trust is a wonderful thing—and worth taking a little time to build.

Mom says I’m one of those special little FurKids who doesn’t need to be the center of attention to steal your heart. She says I’m sweet, gentle, well-mannered, and happiest just being near the people I love. (Can you tell she thinks I’m pretty amazing?)
So if you’ve been looking for an adorable, fluffy, and loyal little shadow to share your life, remind you when it’s time for belly rubs, and happily ride shotgun on all of life’s adventures, then I think we should meet. I have a feeling we could make each other very happy.
Tail wags, little kisses, and lots of love,
Simply Special Snowy
