Snowy

Hi Everyone,

My name is Snowy and I’m a handsome snow white bichon of about eight tipping the scales at 13 pounds. I’m healthy, housebroken and happy, which is a good combination I’m told!

My foster Mom says that I am a mellow guy who likes to cuddle, chew on my edible chew toys and go for walks. I walk slowly taking in all the sights and smells of our neighborhood. I enjoy my walks but I’m not interested in an endurance race or doing agility. On the other hand I really LOVE to go for rides (in the car, that is!) I would be happy to drive for hours on end. If you are looking for a companion to go for a drive, then I’m your guy for sure!

I’m also like to do my BFK Aunties call ‘being chill.” I can happily entertain myself (drum roll please) enjoying my chew, sleeping in a sun spot or hanging out with my doggy foster brothers. We don’t exactly ‘play’ with one another but we do keep each other company and I like that.

I enjoy meeting and getting to know people and seem to like them a lot but this thing called ‘social distancing’ keeps me from having too many interactions. Mom says I’m good with people outside the home though. And in my current home it’s just Mom, the boys (my doggy foster brothers) and me.

When I became a FurKid I was very grateful — but I also kind of decided to be in charge. Now being as cute as I am, I probably did that from the time I was a puppy so I had lots of experience being in charge! My foster Mom is what people call a ‘trainer’ and she says for me to be in charge is not ‘appropriate’. So Mom says she’s in charge and I’ve learned the rules of the house. For example, I have to sit before getting dinner, ask permission to come up on the couch, be gentle with my doggy foster brothers and not think that Mom is only my special person. I have to share her and wait my turn. That’s something Mom calls ‘being patient’.

So if you have a mellow home, like to go for walks and rides, are accustomed to being in charge and want a buddy to keep you company, please ask for me.
