Hello New Friends,

My name is Snuggly Spencer and I’m a darling little guy of about two (years that is) with a soft white coat and weighing about 12 pounds. That makes me the perfect size for walks, cuddles, and keeping you company wherever you go. 

Now, let me tell you about my favorite thing in the whole world: it’s called (drum roll please) going for walks! The second I see the leash, I can barely contain my excitement. I bounce, wiggle, and make happy little noises because I know adventure time is upon us (us is my foster Mom and me!) Once we’re outside, I’m curious and alert, ready to explore the world with her (and hopefully soon you) by my side. 

I’m a little shy when I first meet new dogs (especially big ones), but once I feel safe, I warm up quickly. I’ve mastered a lot of things already in my foster home. I’ve learned how to be social and friendly– and REALLY enjoy having doggy friends, especially ones who are kind and respectful of little guys like me!

With people who are called ‘adults’, I’m very loving —  and I’m loving in my own quiet and sweet way. I can also do well with older kids who are patient and understand that I may take a little longer to get to know them–but once I do, we can be the bestest of friends! 

At home, I’m a mellow and very easygoing companion. I’m housebroken (that’s NOT a typo!), rarely bark, and don’t have separation anxiety I love being near my people, whether that means curling up by your side or following you from room to room. And if you need to go out somewhere without me, that’s okay too—I’ll wait quietly until you return and will be delighted to have you home.  Of course if you can take me with you, we can explore more of the world together  — and I’d like that a lot! 

My Ideal Home Must Have:
– A calm, patient person or family who will let me build my confidence
– Another FurKid or two, please!
– Lots of walks and outdoor time, because I love exploring and adventures!
– Adults and even older children who will respect my space and work with me

Experience Level:
– Knows how to build trust with a four-legged companion

All in all, I’m sweet, calm, a little silly—and ready to become a loyal friend. If you’re looking for a walking buddy who loves adventures and also loves to cuddle, let’s meet and make plans!
