Hello World!
We are Buddy and Patty, a dynamic duo who are 3 and 2 years old, happy, sweet and loving pups. We are a bonded pair. I, Buddy, am a darling 9 pound Bichon and Patty is an 11 pound Maltipoo. We are, you see, the essence of portable!
When our Mom went into hospice she had to give us up – but we became FurKids so we are as lucky as we are adorable!
We are also very playful little guys. We like to play wrestle with each other – and play ‘chase.’ Our foster mom says we buzz around the yard– when we are not sunbathing, that is! We really like to go for rides (we look quietly out the window and are very well behaved) and walks. Being outside on a leash is new to us and although we think it is really neat we need a lot of work! You see for the first two years of our lives we weren’t walked or even very well socialized. Our foster Mom is doing her best to build our confidence and teach us that the world is a safe please for two small pups.
Our BFK Aunties says that I, Buddy, am the quintessential bichon. I have gorgeous brown eyes, love to be petted, have my head scratched and do a great pattycake, while standing on my back legs. I’m a bit more confident than Patty and very eager to please. I don’t know any commands yet but am willing to learn. I’m curious about the other dogs we meet on our walks but have had very limited exposure to any outside of Patty.
Now, as for Patty: he is as cute as they come and an amazing listener! Mom says he flips his ears up when he’s listening, usually accompanied by tilting his head. He looks simply adorable – and obviously wants to please. Mom is trying to build his confidence as he’s curious about a lot of things but very lacking in experience of the real world!
Mom says we are inseparable and happiest when we can snuggle together. (We even like to touch each other when we are sleeping!)
