Hello World,

My name is Spectacular Sadie and I’m a delightful and adorable bichon girl of about seven or eight (years, that is.) who is sweet, happy, cuddly, friendly and eager to please – and almost 10 pounds of pure cuteness. (That’s what Mom says and you can see that I have already worked my charm on her – and I wasn’t even trying very hard!)

In the short time I’ve been a FurKid I have mastered the art of cuddling. If you’re a cuddler, you may have met your match! Want me to do a happy dance? Grab my leash and I’ll hop to the front door! After that, I’ll take my time to enjoy the stroll and smells of the great outdoors. And when I’m back, I’ll curl up beside you, drop my head on your chest, and cuddle for all I’m worth! And that’s a LOT!

When I came to Mom’s house, it wasn’t long before she fell in love. I taught her lots of things — like how to sleep on the back of the couch and to come when she’s called! (Oh silly me – that’s what I do!) Mom taught me to appreciate the value of a good pet, riding in the car and, of course, snuggling. Those are very good things!

Dad says I always have a smile on my face, I’m housebroken (I sit by the door to let you know I want to go out) and I’m a great Companion with a capital C! (Aw gee! That makes me feel all warm inside!)

I’m eager to please, very smart and fun to be with – because I’m a sweet, mellow and gentle little lady. Mom and Dad agree that I’m adorable, cute and a very special girl!

Besides being special in all the ways I’ve been described, I’m also special in one other way. I have these special teeny tiny pills that I have to take every day so that I won’t have this thing called a seizure. I haven’t had one in a while (now that I have my pills) and we hope I will not have any again. (That’s why I’m so glad I have my medicine.) If you didn’t know I had ever had one you certainly couldn’t tell: I’m just as active and happy and entertaining as other bichon pups.

Hello New Friends,

My name is Elton John and I’m a colorful and cute little Maltese and Westie mix. I’m four years young and about 11 pounds of adorableness. My foster mom says I’m just about the cutest kid on the block. I exude cuteness. I personify cuteness. I am the epitome of cuteness. That’s what she says. (Can you tell she kind of likes me?)

Mom says that when I first met her I was a little shy and hesitant to approach. Well that changed pretty fast and she got to see the real me: an affectionate, loving, friendly and good-tempered little guy! I’m still shy at first when I meet new people – but then I warm up and can’t resist the opportunity to get a caress or a pat on the head. I also love to sit in her lap and take in all the love in the universe. Mom says I’m a lap magnet – and that when she sits down I melt into her lap!

My BFK Aunties say I’m curious, affectionate and very smart. I mastered the doggy door in no time use it ‘reliably’. (Mom’s doing a really good job so you’ll have to tell her!) And I am hoping to work with my new family to learn commands as I’m a ‘quick study’ who is willing and wants to please. In fact I mastered walking on the leash in no time and I love to ride in the car! Short rides or long rides – I love them all!

I would love to have my own family to share my joy and love, and a doggy brother or sister to learn from and play with. In return, I will do my best to keep everyone smiling and feeling important and loved. (That will be easy for me because whatever family adopts me will be my whole world.

Engaging, Eager and Entertaining (of course!) Elton John

Hello World!

We are Ollie and Willie, two handsome and happy little guys who are incredibly fun to have around and the best of buddies! We are friendly with everyone we meet, VERY affectionate and incredibly sweet! We have hair, not fur, are probably a mix of bichons and poodles, can be both energetic and calm– and are as loving as any two little guys can possibly be.

We are also very playful pups. We like to play wrestle with each other – and ‘chase.’ Mom says we buzz around the yard as fast as we can with each other and our doggy foster brothers and sister. We like to go for rides in the car (we are very well behaved) and enjoy our walks. Being outside on a leash is new to us and we think it is really neat! We are also learning commands, want to please and are (almost) housebroken.

A little more about us:

I, Willie, am a bit older than Ollie (about three years old) and 17 pounds. Mom’s not sure if I am his older brother or perhaps his Dad – but there’s no doubt that we love and enjoy being with each other! Ollie is about 1½ years old, 12 pounds, playful, outgoing and a bit more social than I. He is eager to learn and to please. Mom says it’s hard not to say that everything Ollie does is cute and adorable! He cocks his head when you talk to him and is so happy whenever he sees anyone or any other FurKid. He runs, and frolics and plays with me, as well as our doggy foster siblings.

I’m known for my sweet personality and nature – and for being gentle as well as playful. I’m also extremely well-mannered and SMART. Mom says I’m a good influence on Ollie and calls me his ‘role model.’ (I’m not sure exactly what that means but I do want to help him be the bestest little guy that he can be!)

We both have gorgeous brown eyes (Mom says mine are soulful!), love to be petted, have our heads scratched and we give lots of doggy kisses. Mom says we are inseparable –and happiest when we can cuddle together. (We even like to touch each other when we are sleeping!) We are most definitely snuggle bunnies!

My name is Blissful Bobby and I’m a darling bichon boy of five (years that is) who is a lover and a keeper. I have this cute way of almost ‘purring’ and a cute way of ‘talking’ that make me who I am. My foster mom says I’m just about the cutest kid on the block. I exude cuteness. I personify cuteness. I’m the epitome of cuteness. That’s what she says. (Can you tell she kind of likes me?)

I love to run and sun and go for walks. When I do, I have a certain bounce in my step. (I think that shows I’m really happy, which I am!) I also like to go for rides in the car with the breeze on my face (I’m a good co-pilot!), lounge in the sun and cuddle on your lap. I also love my bed. Mom and Dad have a bunch of beds around the house and I like to play ‘musical beds’ as they are all comfy and lovely.

Mom says I want to learn commands like sit, stay and come and, since I’m pretty smart, I should master them with practice! She says I love to play fetch – but am not interested in giving up my toy (That’s part of my game with Mom! After all it IS my toy!)

I’m housebroken and ask to go outside. I would love to have a doggy door though then I could go in and out whenever ‘inspiration’ calls me. When it’s time to go to bed, I like to sleep quietly under the bed. I never like to be too far away. Of course, being a gentleman, I’m not a barker.

Beloved and Blissful Bobby

Hello World!

My name is Joyous Joey and I’m a cute little guy who is about 1 ½ years old and simply adorable. Now I’m not bragging but everyone that meets me says I’m a ‘cutie patootie’. I’m not exactly sure what that means but my foster Mom says I’m ‘adorbs’ and that everything I do is adorable!

Mom says I’m 15 pounds of fun – and so happy that I smile – and wag my tail – all the time (except when I’m lying in your arms and cuddling!) I’m a master at the Bichon Buzz or Bichon Blitz or Zoomies. Regardless of what you call it, you will enjoy seeing me in action!

Besides being charming, kind, cuddly, delightful and happy, I’m also obedient, playful and want to please! Sound good? Then please read on! Mom says that I’m equal parts sweet and shy, a darling little guy who just wants to be around you- in your lap, by your side, next to you in bed, on a car ride. As long as I’m with you, I’m fine. Did I mention that I LOVE the car?
Aside from literally looking like a little teddy bear (seriously, if I say, Tom Holland were a dog, it would be me!), my best quality is that I’m just a great little friend. (And I promise I’ll be the bestest companion to some lucky person or couple!)

While I am shy at first when you meet me at my home, I’m much more comfortable meeting people outside. I’m finding out that there are lots of pretty special human beings in this world that I can like and who like me! I’m learning that love and attention are good things! Mom is helping me become more comfortable with new people – and I’m definitely getting more comfortable. And did I mention that ONCE I TRUST YOU I’M IN LOVE FOR LIFE? Oh! and I’ve discovered that ear scratches and belly rubs are pretty neat! So sign me up for more of them, please!

Mom calls me “Super Glue” because I bonded with her in about two seconds. She says I’m a happy, sweet, and social little love bug who likes the other dogs in our home AND the cats too!. So you will not be surprised to know that I like to play, go for walks and participate in all that life has to offer!

Did I mention that I’m housebroken (no typo there) and am also learning commands! Why I already come when I’m called (that’s more than some of my bichon cousins do!) and I’m learning “sit.”

So if you are looking for a darling pup, with lots of promise, are willing to continue my training (I want to become the best little guy that I can be), are active, home most of the time and like to do lots of things, I’m applying to be your new best friend.

Hi People,

My name is Blissful Benji and I’m a cuddly, cute, comical and clever little guy who is easy to fall in love with. My foster Mom and Dad say I’m almost perfect. I’m about a year old, weigh only 7.4 pounds and my BFK Aunties think I’m a ‘Morkie’ (a Maltese/Yorkie mix.)

I’m very, very puppy-like. That means I’m curious, lovable and playful! Mom says I do what she calls my ‘morning shenanigans.’ If you wonder what that looks like well, I’m known to grab a toy and toss it around the house followed by doing the Zoomies. There is no doubt that I’m as cute as I can be and every bit an energetic pup.

Dad says I’m quite adventurous and consistently demonstrate my puppy spirit. He says if I’m quiet, you’d better see what I’m up to! Did I mention that I love shoes and socks! I like to ‘find’ them and bring them to my play area.

I’m learning about walks (I’m working up to longer walks to build my confidence) and rides in the car (I’m a great co-pilot). I am also learning commands (I already know ‘sit’, ‘come’ and my name), and am almost housebroken. I like other dogs but my doggy foster brothers are older so they are not captivated with my puppy energy. I’m thinking another pup closer in age and size might be a good fit for me.

Most of all I’m playful (did I mention that?), learning the joy of toys, am a total cuddlebug and lap dog. Did I mention that I’m a pup who loves to play, rarely barks and likes to have people give me pets and belly rubs? That’s the kind of pup I am!
