Hello World!

My name is Joyous Joey and I’m a cute little guy who is six years young (or is it old?) and simply adorable. Now I’m not bragging but everyone that meets me says I’m a ‘cutie patootie’. I’m not exactly sure what that means but my foster Mom says I’m ‘adorbs’ and that everything I do is adorable!

Mom says I’m 13 pounds of fun – and so happy that I smile – and wag my tail – all the time (except when I’m lying in your arms and cuddling!) Besides being charming, kind, cuddly, delightful and happy, I’m also obedient, playful and want to please! Sound good? Then please read on!

Mom says that I’m equal parts sweet and shy, a darling little guy who just wants to be around you- in your lap, by your side, next to you in bed, on a car ride. As long as I’m with you, I’m fine. Did I mention that I LOVE the carwash – and drive-thrus? When you’re actually driving, I’m pretty calm and love to look out the closed window. At the drive-thru I sometimes growl at the men inside but listen to Mom and am obedient.

Aside from literally looking like a little teddy bear (seriously, if I say, Tom Holland were a dog, it would be me!), my best quality is that I’m just a great little friend. (And I promise I’ll be the bestest companion to some lucky person or couple!)

While I am shy at first, I’m finding that there are lots of pretty special human beings in this world that I can like and who like me! I’m learning that love and attention are good things! Mom is helping me become more comfortable with new people – and I’m generally better with women than men. That’s because I’m what she says is ‘discerning’ — but a gentle man can probably win me over. Oh! and I’ve discovered that ear scratches and belly rubs are pretty neat! So sign me up for more of them, please!

Mom calls me “Super Glue” because I bonded with her in about two seconds. She says I’m a happy, sweet, and social little love bug and a pretty typical bichon in many ways. So you will not be surprised to know that I like to play, go for walks and participate in all that life has to offer!

Did I mention that I’m housebroken (no typo there) and am also learning commands! Why I already come when I’m called (that’s more than some of my bichon cousins do!) and I’m learning “sit.”

So if you are looking for a darling pup, with lots of promise, are willing to continue my training (I want to become the best little guy that I can be), are active, home most of the time and like to do lots of things, I’m applying to be your new best friend.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Lovable, Lively Lacey — and I am a darling little havanese puppy who is 10 months young (or is it 10 months old?) I’m a little femme fatale of a puppy who will be a wonderful addition to any family. My foster mom says that as cute as I am, I’m equally loving. While I love to play with my foster fur buddies (both dogs and cats), I also love to just sit in your lap and be petted. Mom says that I also love to “help” her when she works at her computer, when I’m not playing with my doggy foster ‘siblings’, that is! And did I mention that I love to play fetch and love my ball? Well I DO love to play with my ball – and play, and play, and play!

Oh and then there are walks. I LOVE to walk! And rides! You guessed it! I LOVE to ride in the car! Mom says I’m the bestest co-pilot ever. I help her get to wherever we are going!

Dad says I’m housebroken (I even tell him when I need to go out!), learning commands (I’ve already mastered ‘sit’ and am working on others!) am friendly, smart and gentle. He says I love to give doggy kisses to everyone I meet – and that everyone who sees me comments on how gorgeous and adorable I am. Dad says I’m very good at stealing hearts (I told Dad I’m a good girl and I would never steal anything. He just smiles and pats my head.)

Mom says that I’m also a treasure – and that I have the best disposition in the world!!! She thinks I would do best in a family with another young active furkid and respectful children– and that only the most special family will be right for me! Mom knows that there is one waiting to adopt this darling little bichon girl.

Hello New Friends,

My name is Magnificent Marnie and I’m a beautiful and amazingly happy Bichon girl who is as affectionate as I am adorable. (Now, I’m not bragging! That’s what everyone says about me!) I’m a friendly six year old girl with a sweet face to match my sweet spirit – and the most beautiful brown eyes that look deeply into your soul. I’m also a bigger girl (about 20+ pounds) but I’m all lean muscle and simply beautiful!

While I love to play with my toys, I also love to sit on your lap and cuddle (and maybe even catch a few winks.) I could stay there all day ‘cause I like to give (and receive) love. Mom says I’m a pretty, feminine and delightful pup who is beautiful, sweet and loving.

My BFK Aunties say that I’m attentive and adoring — and that I truly enjoy LIFE. If I’m with my doggy foster siblings, I get along with them–however being with my special person or people is more important to me.

I’m also a unique combination — of love and spunk! I love humans of all ages, shapes and sizes – from wee people to big people and everything in between. I’m also independent, energetic and self-reliant! While I can run and walk with ‘the best of them’ I’m also mellow and simply one of the world’s best companions!

When I came into rescue I was a bit ‘discombobulated’ as I had lost my home, family and the pups I was living with. My ‘original mom’ thought I would do fine being the center of someone’s attention as she loved me very much but had very little time to spend with me or any of her pups. She had two toddlers and a fulltime job so we know that I get along with small children too.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Welcoming Willie and I’m a warm-hearted, winsome bichon of two who weighs in at a perfect 17 pounds, loves to ‘talk’ and to hug! I’m so talented that I actually ‘talk’ while I’m hugging you. And if you ask for a hug, well I’m ready to respond and do so without hesitation!

Mom says I’m friendly (with people and pups), super smart (I learn quickly and I’m training her very well too!) and I love to go for walks. But, there is something else you need to know – I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to go for rides in the car. If you want to go for 10 minutes or 10 hours, that’s fine with me. You’d have to look far and wide to find a better companion than I am! (Mom says I even follow her to the car when she’s taking out the garbage as I simply want to GO!)

Did I mention that I’m housebroken, use the doggie door (I mastered it quickly!) and am VERY responsive. I come when my name is called, am very obedient and am learning commands. “Sit” is my favorite because I know it already (and it usually means something good is going to happen!)

Mom says once I learn to trust you I’m ‘all yours.’ Going slow and gentle is the best way to win me over. Since I’m a foodie, you can also win me over with treats. My BFK Aunties think I came from a home where I did not get a lot of attention so I do crave and appreciate it now that I’m accustomed to it. And I DO love to cuddle and show both my affection and appreciation!

Winsome, Wholesome and Worthy (of Your Love) Willie

Hello New Friends,

My name is Susie Q and I’m a perfectly adorable bichon girl who loves to hug– and I do that to perfection!! Mom says I’m a sweet, loving and friendly girl of about nine or ten who is as affectionate as I can be. (You see I have already worked my charm on Mom – and I wasn’t even trying very hard!)

When I came to my Foster Mom’s house, I was very sad. My ‘original Mom’ had passed away and I was a bit “discombobulated.” (Dad says that’s a big word but it means that I was confused and upset.) Then I got to know my foster Mom and my world became so much better! She and I have become the best of friends. I have taught her how to sit (oops, I mean she taught me how to do that) – and I especially taught her how to snuggle. She’s getting very good at it, too!

I LOVE to go for rides in the car – and am starting to enjoy getting to walk again too. You see my ‘original mom’ had become very frail and then bedridden and not able to do those things with me any more. She knew I had and have a lot of spirit and that it was not fair for me to be confined to a house all the time. Mom said I would never complain – but I needed to be in a home where I could do the things we used to do together.

Dad says I’m eager to please, very smart and a master cuddle bug. I love to snuggle in bed or on the couch (especially with Mom!) I like the company of another dog, would be fine with older children as I’m gentle, come when I’m called (Apparently not all FurKids do that so Mom and Dad appreciate it in me!) and have LOTS of love to give. What I really need now is a forever family to call my own.

Hello Everybody,

My name is Incredibly Irresistible Indy, at least that’s what everyone who meets me says! I’m a loving, friendly, and cuddly pup of two (years, that is!) who is inquisitive, knows a number of commands and comes when I’m called! Sound good? Please read on!

Mom says I am very gentle and loving, (She says that is a wonderful combination) a real gentleman and an easy boy to have around — as I get along with just about anyone and everyone – two or four-legged. And I have the cutest way of reaching out with my paw to let you know to please pet me some more – or if I’m unsure of a situation I reach out with my paw to be comforted. Mom says I’m irresistible. (I’m not sure what that means but she smiles when she says it1)

Like many of my bichon ‘brethren’ I’m very sweet, smart and loyal. I love ‘my people’ yet am independent as well. Mom says that’s why I’m called Indy (because I have some ‘independence’ in my genes.) On the other hand I’m a real lover and like to cuddle as close to my people as I can.

The most important thing for you to know is that I need company. My perfect home will have people around most of the time – and another young FurKid. Having a special person I can love and adore, and a doggy buddy, is what I want most in the world!
