Hello Everybody,

My name is Incredibly Irresistible Indy, at least that’s what everyone who meets me says! I’m a loving, friendly, and cuddly pup of two (years, that is!) who is inquisitive, knows a number of commands and comes when I’m called! Sound good? Please read on!
Mom says I am very gentle and loving, (She says that is a wonderful combination) a real gentleman and an easy boy to have around — as I get along with just about anyone and everyone – two or four-legged. And I have the cutest way of reaching out with my paw to let you know to please pet me some more – or if I’m unsure of a situation I reach out with my paw to be comforted. Mom says I’m irresistible. (I’m not sure what that means but she smiles when she says it1)
Like many of my bichon ‘brethren’ I’m very sweet, smart and loyal. I love ‘my people’ yet am independent as well. Mom says that’s why I’m called Indy (because I have some ‘independence’ in my genes.) On the other hand I’m a real lover and like to cuddle as close to my people as I can.
The most important thing for you to know is that I need company. My perfect home will have people around most of the time – and another young FurKid. Having a special person I can love and adore, and a doggy buddy, is what I want most in the world!

My Ideal Home:
- Someone home most of the time
- Another active, playful dog or two
- Adults and/or kids over 7
Experience Level:
- Have had dogs as an adult
- Recent/current dog experience a plus!
As you can see from my picture, there is no doubt that I’m a very adorable pup! So if you are looking for a great little companion who loves to be with you, gives sweet doggy kisses, enjoys his walks and prances down the street, let me apply for the job!
Tail wags and snuggles,
Incomparable, Irresistible Indy

When I came to Mom’s house, it wasn’t long before she fell in love. I taught her how to run after toys in the yard and play fetch, the value of a very special toy – and I especially taught her how to snuggle. (She’s getting very good at it, too!)
As for Dad and my teenage human brother, they like me too – and I like them a LOT! They say I love to go for walks and rides in the car – and that I’m a happy boy. I get praised for learning to go outside to ‘do my business and I sleep quietly in the Big People’s bed.

I like other dogs, and they like me, but I’m more into my special people! I will come up to you for a gentle pet or sit with you and cuddle. If you want a companion to share your days and nights, look no further as I’m applying for that job. You will not find anyone who is more loving or appreciative of the time we spend together.

Mom says that I am as sweet as can be and a real cuddle bug. (Silly Mom, I’m not a bug at all, just a furkid full of love for everyone I meet.) Dad says I’m a diamond in the rough and a little guy with great potential! (Thanks, Dad!)
My doggy foster sisters and brothers are teaching me how to play and to be respectful of something they call ‘boundaries’ (I think that means I need to understand when they want to play and when they want to rest!) We have so much fun together! Toys, and ‘specially squeaky toys, are already my favorites, along with things to chew like yak bones. Why I never met a toy I didn’t like, either! And when I get tired, I curl up like the sweet little guy I am and take a nap. Mom says that makes the cutest picture!

Dad says I like to be wherever he or Mom is. He calls me Super Glue because I bond to people in seconds. There is no doubt that I’m the world’s greatest lap dog – until you get ready for a walk. I love my walks! I’m happy to trot along and see the world. I’m also a great rider (in the car, that is!).
Because I’m smart I mastered the doggy door in minutes (making Mom and Dad very proud of me!) I mastered being housebroken. And I also mastered this game called ‘Fetch.’ I’m also great at playing ‘Chase’ and I like being chased as well too. Another way that I show how smart I am is I cock my head when you talk and listen very, very intently! I don’t want to miss a word when someone is talking to me!

My story is all too familiar. My former family had me from the time I was a puppy and for almost six years. I went everywhere with them and liked that a lot. They dressed me up (I have quite a wardrobe) and life was fine. Then last August I had this thing called a ‘seizure.’ They took me to the vet who gave me these tiny little pills (I take 2 every day and I’m a champ!). And the best news is that I’ve never had another one! But then my family decided to move and didn’t want me anymore. They ‘surrendered’ me to the kind vet who took care of me until I became a FurKid.
Now life is good again. I get to go on car rides (I’m great in a car), go on walks (one of my favorite things to do and I’m simply amazing to walk!), I’m housebroken (I’d love a yard but I’m fine with a walk schedule) and I know a few commands (Sit and stay are my best ones!). My favorite thing to do (other than sit with my human) is to play with my pink squeaky ball. I like to carry it around and will ask you to throw it. Then I will run to catch it and, when I’m all done, I roll on top of it and get a massage. My foster mom says that’s adorable!
