Hello World!

My name is Biscotti and I’m 13 pounds of cuteness and about 5 years old. My foster Mom says I’m spirited, loving, playful, loyal and very energetic! I’m amazing at playing fetch (I can play with my squeaky toys for hours!), give lots of puppy kisses in the morning and am known for my Bichon Buzz. (By the way I can throw my squeaky toys in the air while I’m buzzing. That’s quite amazing, don’t you think?)
Dad says I’m really smart! I’m housebroken, love to ride in the car and already know commands like “Sit”, “Stay” and “Paw” (He says that when he wants me to shake my paw.) Dad says I love my crate (he calls it a box) and sleep contentedly in it all through the night or chill out when he or Mom have to leave the house. I’m not destructive nor do I howl while you are gone because my crate is my safe place.
While I’m good with all people generally it does take me some time to get to know people initially. Older children are fine. I just don’t like being picked up by younger children or strangers (until I’m comfortable, that is.) Once I am, we can have a lot of fun because I’m very active and a LOT of fun! Mom says PRLONGED EXERCISE is “my thing”. I will need a family that will play with me as that what makes me happiest. And I also need a family that will keep working with me on boundaries – no nipping and no taking other dogs food. I’m responsive and easily corrected, but it does need to be done consistently.
Mom and Dad said I have built a special relationship with my doggy foster sister. She has a calm personality and is very confident. She is always willing to play with me when I want to — but also tells me when she is “done”. Mom says given how high energy I am, I would do best in a home with a very active family and a confident and happy doggy friend who likes to play. I may be only five years old but I’m very much a puppy at heart.

My Ideal Home:
- An active family
- Someone home most of the time
- Another active, confident and playful SMALL dog
- Kids at least 7 years old
Experience Level:
- Have had dogs as an adult
- Recent/current dog experience
- Rescue dog experience a plus
I’m currently in my foster home in Southern California but may be moving to Northern California very soon.. So, if I sound like the right pup for you, please complete an application using the button below. I’ll look forward to hearing from you.
Bichon wags and kisses,
Breezy and Bright Biscotti

And did you know I also like to watch TV? Mom says I “make conversation” because I get engaged with the other dogs I see on TV!
I’m Demi, a darling little girl of about three who, according to my Mom, is just plain adorable. Mom says that good things come in small packages and at only 9 pounds I’m a darling little ‘package’.
Once I got to my foster home I found a Mom and Dad who do not work outside the home and a doggy foster brother who is a senior guy (but I try every day to get him to play with me anyway.) It took me about a week but I decided my Mom is a really nice lady and I started to be comfortable around her. I let her take me on walks and rides in the car (I’m very good on both) but I still don’t let her pick me up.
My name is Lovable Laddie and my Aunties want me to introduce myself because I’m a pretty spectacular pup. Now I’m absolutely not bragging (I would never, ever do that) however everyone that meets me says so!
If you look at my pictures you will note that I have kind and expressive brown eyes that look straight into your soul. I’m a very sweet and gentle guy who will let anyone pet me (when Mom says it’s ok!) and love to kiss everyone too! At my human grandma’s house there is this big, bouncy puppy who is a bit ‘over the top’. I made sure that my Mom was okay with his bouncy-ness and was ready to protect her if she needed me. Mom said it was very sweet that I was ready to come to her rescue (since she came to mine!)

I am happy romping around playing with doggie toys or snuggling with Jodie. I also like to try to wrestle with my doggy foster sister. Dad says sometimes it’s a three ring circus at our house. Mom says that Jodie and I like to play with one another and that I’m the “initiator. She says that when we are finished with all that ‘play stuff’, we lie down quietly and take a nap together- happy to have worn off some of our puppy energy!)
Dad says I’m more of the “explorer dog” type – and that the back yard is a perfect place for me to do that. He says that both of us like to hang out in his office while he works (and we snuggle) then we give doggy kisses because both of us LOVE to be with people!) Oh and there is something REALLY cute that we both do! (Well, there are actually LOTS of cute things we do but (drum roll please!) we like to watch dogs on TV! We will sit for minutes on end to watch any dog that happens to be on any channel. We cock our heads and listen for all we are worth (and that’s a lot!) Mom and Dad think that we are super smart, too.
Now for my sister, Jodie…Mom says she is a sweet little angel and that she has the cutest ways about her. If you sit down to read a book or watch TV, Jodie will curl up next to you and stay there forever. Dad says that Jodie has a very sweet and playful spirit – and if you meet her in person, you will fall in love with her big brown eyes and all they communicate. Well, I think she’s pretty cute too but I don’t know that her eyes are more expressive than mine, Come on now, Dad.
When Bichon FurKids found us we were pretty scared, very skinny and were terribly matted as well. We had somehow survived living on the streets- despite how little we are! Now Jodie and I are brave, not scared, and our hair is growing back beautifully (after being shaved quite a bit). We are drinking good water and eating good food! (Mom says no table scraps) and we have a yard to run and sun in and doggy foster siblings to play with if we choose. And we are smart and SO want to please! We mastered the doggy door already and know to go outside to do our ‘business’, then come in and sit nicely for a treat!
