Meet Blissful Bobby. This gorgeous bichon boy is always happy, wags his tail all the time, loves to walk, ride in the car, and is good with other pups like himself. He is a gentle and sweet cuddlebug who LOVES people. Bobby has recently turned 9, weighs only 11 pounds and is affectionate, curious and playful. He’s also smart! Bobby loves to play ball and will, for example, sometimes push the ball down from the top of the stairs then chase after it! It’s a game he designed all by himself!

Please meet Leo and Scout, a bonded pair, who love one another and love people. These precious boys (Leo is a yorkie-poo and Scout a bichi-poo) are nine pounds of love, 13 and 10 years old respectively, and are in need of our help!

Leo and Scout’s Mom has had the boys since they were born-but recently had a baby with major medical issues. Mom has to move into her own mother’s home with the baby –and these darling boys now need a home where they can love and be loved (and remain together.) Their Mom is devastated but believes BFK will find the right home for them to live out the many years they have remaining.

Meet Sweet and Sociable Star. This adorable Havanese girl loves to walk, ride in the car, is good with other dogs, people and even strangers. She is a gentle and ‘chill’ girl who deserves the bestest home ever. Soon Star will begin her eighth year and we know this will be the best one yet!

As a result of both of Star’s Dads passing within a short time of one another, gentle Star has found herself without a home. She is currently staying with the groomer who has known Star since she was a puppy, The groomer has a variety of animals including a 120 pound Great Dane and a little Italian Greyhound. Star is accepting of everyone she meets (both two and four-legged) and is definitely missing her Dads who showered her with lots of love and attention. She also had a FurKid brother when she was initially adopted and until he, too, passed recently –so Star is accustomed to having another fluffy pup in her home.

Hello New Friends!

I’m Radiant and Remarkable Rylee, a beautiful Bichon girl of three who is adorable, affectionate, confident and energetic – and, did I mention, lovable? Mom says I excel in being lovable! Why I love big people and small people and I love with all my heart (and all 16 pounds of me, too!)

Dad says I’m housebroken and VERY smart. He says that I love all the things that Bichons love – like walks, treats, cuddles, and squeaky toys! I will run to catch them – and (drum roll please) I also bring them back to him!

I’m really a cuddler at heart. If any of the family is sitting on the couch, well I like to join them to cuddle and cuddle and cuddle. Mom says I get as close as possible and convince you to pet me. When you stop I nuzzle so you will keep petting! You see, I’m smart enough to know the joys of being petted! Mom says I get an A++ in cuddles! I tell her, “Mom, I’m just practicing. And I expect to get better every day!”

I’m an easy and very loyal little girl. I know my commands and I am very S-M-A-R-T! The thing about me is that I’m ‘engaging.’ I like to engage my doggy foster brother and sister (to get them to play) and my Mom and Dad to get them to play—or to snuggle. Anyone who knows me instantly finds out that I am VERY convincing. And when I look at you (or them) with my big brown eyes they simply have to (you got it…) engage!

I warm up very quickly to new people and am confident that they will like me. Right now I’m recovering from this thing called a surgery. You see my previous owners didn’t care for me properly so I needed to have an operation. (You may remember my story as I’m pretty famous and lots of people were pulling for me!) I’m recovering from it beautifully and doing everything I have been told to do.

My Ideal Home:
* Someone home most of the time
* Another active, playful dog around my age
* Adults or a family with kids

Experience level:
* Have had dogs as an adult
* Recent/current dog experience a plus

Meet Meet Fabulous Freddy – a two year old bichon looking for a Foster-to-Adopt who currently has a young, sweet and active pup that can serve as a role model. Freddy has never had an opportunity to be a pup so everything is new to him… that includes walking, riding in the car, learning commands etc.
He wants to please … and needs a four-legged buddy to teach him and a two-legged adopter who has patience and love to share.

Hi World,

My name is Cuddly Coco and I’m a cute little guy who is about 3 ½ years old and simply adorable. Now I’m not bragging but everyone that meets me says I’m a ‘cutie patootie’. I’m not exactly sure what that means but my foster Mom says I’m ‘adorbs’ and that everything I do is adorable!

Mom says I’m 15 pounds of fun – and so happy that I smile – and wag my tail – all the time (except when I’m lying in your arms and cuddling!) Dad says I’m masterful at lying on my back, looking up at you with my big brown eyes and ‘convincing’ you to rub my back. And since I became a FurKid I have discovered these wonderful and amazing things called toys! I have this small plastic soccer ball and a stuffed rainbow! I like to play Fetch with my soccer ball (I actually bring it back too!) and carry my rainbow around the house with me most of the time.

Besides being charming, kind, cuddly, delightful and happy, I’m also obedient, playful and want to please! Sound good? Then please read on! Mom says that I’m equal parts sweet and shy, a darling little guy who just wants to be around you- in your lap, by your side, next to you in bed, on a car ride. As long as I’m with you, I’m fine. Did I mention that I LOVE the car?

My best quality is that I’m just a great little friend. (And I promise I’ll be the bestest companion to some lucky person or couple!)

While I am shy at first when you meet me the moment a new person sits on the couch I climb all over them and love them up. And then we are instant friends! I’m finding out that there are lots of pretty special human beings in this world that I can like and who like me! I’m learning that love and attention are good things! And did I mention that ONCE I TRUST YOU I’M IN LOVE FOR LIFE? Oh! and I’ve discovered that ear scratches and belly rubs are pretty neat! So sign me up for more of them, please!

Dad calls me “Super Glue” because I bonded with him in about two seconds. He says I’m a happy, silly, playful, energetic and social little love bug who wants to participate in all that life has to offer!

Did I mention that I’m housebroken (no typo there) and am also learning commands! Why I already come when I’m called (that’s more than some of my bichon cousins do!) and I’m learning “sit.”

So if you are looking for a darling pup, with lots of promise, are willing to continue my training (I want to become the best little guy that I can be), are active, home most of the time and like to do lots of things, I’m applying to be your new best friend.

My Ideal Home:
* People who are home most of the time but also active
* Adopters willing to continue my training
* Prefer a single person or couple – no children please
* No other FurKids required

* Recent/current dog experience
* Rescue experience a plus!
