Hello New Friends!

I’m Radiant and Remarkable Rylee, a beautiful Bichon girl of three who is adorable, affectionate, confident and energetic – and, did I mention, lovable? Mom says I excel in being lovable! Why I love big people and small people and I love with all my heart (and all 16 pounds of me, too!)

Dad says I’m housebroken and VERY smart. He says that I love all the things that Bichons love – like walks, treats, cuddles, and squeaky toys! I will run to catch them – and (drum roll please) I also bring them back to him!

I’m really a cuddler at heart. If any of the family is sitting on the couch, well I like to join them to cuddle and cuddle and cuddle. Mom says I get as close as possible and convince you to pet me. When you stop I nuzzle so you will keep petting! You see, I’m smart enough to know the joys of being petted! Mom says I get an A++ in cuddles! I tell her, “Mom, I’m just practicing. And I expect to get better every day!”

I’m an easy and very loyal little girl. I know my commands and I am very S-M-A-R-T! The thing about me is that I’m ‘engaging.’ I like to engage my doggy foster brother and sister (to get them to play) and my Mom and Dad to get them to play—or to snuggle. Anyone who knows me instantly finds out that I am VERY convincing. And when I look at you (or them) with my big brown eyes they simply have to (you got it…) engage!

I warm up very quickly to new people and am confident that they will like me. Right now I’m recovering from this thing called a surgery. You see my previous owners didn’t care for me properly so I needed to have an operation. (You may remember my story as I’m pretty famous and lots of people were pulling for me!) I’m recovering from it beautifully and doing everything I have been told to do.

Meet Meet Fabulous Freddy – a two year old bichon looking for a Foster-to-Adopt who currently has a young, sweet and active pup that can serve as a role model. Freddy has never had an opportunity to be a pup so everything is new to him… that includes walking, riding in the car, learning commands etc.
He wants to please … and needs a four-legged buddy to teach him and a two-legged adopter who has patience and love to share.

Hi World,

My name is Cuddly Coco and I’m a cute little guy who is about 3 ½ years old and simply adorable. Now I’m not bragging but everyone that meets me says I’m a ‘cutie patootie’. I’m not exactly sure what that means but my foster Mom says I’m ‘adorbs’ and that everything I do is adorable!

Mom says I’m 15 pounds of fun – and so happy that I smile – and wag my tail – all the time (except when I’m lying in your arms and cuddling!) Dad says I’m masterful at lying on my back, looking up at you with my big brown eyes and ‘convincing’ you to rub my back. And since I became a FurKid I have discovered these wonderful and amazing things called toys! I have this small plastic soccer ball and a stuffed rainbow! I like to play Fetch with my soccer ball (I actually bring it back too!) and carry my rainbow around the house with me most of the time.

Besides being charming, kind, cuddly, delightful and happy, I’m also obedient, playful and want to please! Sound good? Then please read on! Mom says that I’m equal parts sweet and shy, a darling little guy who just wants to be around you- in your lap, by your side, next to you in bed, on a car ride. As long as I’m with you, I’m fine. Did I mention that I LOVE the car?

My best quality is that I’m just a great little friend. (And I promise I’ll be the bestest companion to some lucky person or couple!)

While I am shy at first when you meet me the moment a new person sits on the couch I climb all over them and love them up. And then we are instant friends! I’m finding out that there are lots of pretty special human beings in this world that I can like and who like me! I’m learning that love and attention are good things! And did I mention that ONCE I TRUST YOU I’M IN LOVE FOR LIFE? Oh! and I’ve discovered that ear scratches and belly rubs are pretty neat! So sign me up for more of them, please!

Dad calls me “Super Glue” because I bonded with him in about two seconds. He says I’m a happy, silly, playful, energetic and social little love bug who wants to participate in all that life has to offer!

Did I mention that I’m housebroken (no typo there) and am also learning commands! Why I already come when I’m called (that’s more than some of my bichon cousins do!) and I’m learning “sit.”

So if you are looking for a darling pup, with lots of promise, are willing to continue my training (I want to become the best little guy that I can be), are active, home most of the time and like to do lots of things, I’m applying to be your new best friend.

Cuddly, Clever and Charming Coco

Hello Everybody!

My name is Marvelous and Mesmerizing Melodie —and I’m a spunky, cuddly and adorable little girl of about five who is sweet, happy and adaptable. Mom says I’m very loving and affectionate and that I have never met a stranger. I like everyone I meet (from the little ones called kids to the big ones called adults) and I’m happy to cuddle, play or simply ‘share the love’.

Mom says I’m a loving and joyful pup who is interested in both dogs and people. From the moment you meet me, I’ll have your complete attention. I greet everyone with a wagging tail and look at you with eyes that look deeply into your soul. Mom says I’m unafraid of changes in my surroundings and she lets me know whatever the next activity is that we will be doing next.

I get along well with my doggy foster brother. He and I run and play together every day. And if there is a ball involved…that’s even better!

By the time I had been in Mom and Dad’s home an hour I had made myself at home…and that was that. Dad said it was like I had always lived here! He agrees that I’m the absolutely perfect size (13 pounds) full of love and affection. When the grandkids came over I immediately accepted treats, looked for pets and wanted to find someone to play ball! I wasn’t shy or aloof – simply perfect!

I’m also housebroken (Mom said I mastered the doggy door in minutes and know when and where to ‘do my business’) and am amazing in the car! I jump in, curl up on the seat, and am calm and very well behaved. I must admit I do like going for rides – and walks – and anything that involves fun, dogs and people!

Magnificent, Marvelous and Mesmerizing Melodie

Hello Everybody!

My name is Magnificent, Magical and Memorable Muffy —and I’m a spunky, cuddly and adorable little girl of about six or so who is sweet, happy and adaptable. Mom says I’m very loving and affectionate and that I have never met a stranger. I like everyone I meet (and they like me!) and I’m happy to sit on anyone’s lap for any length of time and ‘share the love’.

Dad says I’m delicate, tiny (a svelte 12 pounds please) and, did I mention, lovable? Dad says I excel at being lovable! When I arrived in my foster home I made myself at home immediately and thanked Mom and Dad for their hospitality with lots of kisses.

I’m housebroken and love all the things that FurKids love — like walks, treats, cuddles, and rides in the car. Dad says that I’m quite the charmer and also a real cinephile. I love to jump on the couch and snuggle up for a good movie. (I have a reputation, however, for falling asleep pretty quickly and then snoring.) For such a little girl, I can snore like a much bigger pup— but that’s it, and everything I do, is simply adorable!

I’m also an incredible jumper. I can leap over puddles and from couch to couch with ease, soaring through the air with my tiny little legs. From time to time I’ll even jump up into your arms to give you a kiss. And when it comes to being beyond endearing, there aren’t many in my class!

I’m extremely well behaved around other dogs and especially other people. And unlike many other FurKids, I’m also fine by myself. I make myself comfortable when Mom and Dad have to leave and when they return I’m simply happy to see them. (I don’t have that thing called separation anxiety. And that’s a good thing to not have!)

Like so many pups that have been rescued, I arrived at the shelter as a stray. It had been quite some time since I had been groomed, it appeared that I had probably been living outside (which is not good for a wee little one like me) and I had been rather neglected. The shelter gave me a spa day and I was so happy to be clean, warm and comfortable. In fact, I was so grateful that I kissed the groomer, right then and there!

Once I arrived at my foster home I immediately let them know that I appreciated loving care, first class nutrition and a warm and safe home. I show my appreciation every day and love nothing more than to be near my people, either snuggled up right in someone’s lap or in my bed nearby. Because I prefer to be the center of attention I would prefer to be an only dog.

Magnificent, Magical and Memorable Muffy

Hi World,

My name is Omazing Odie and I’m a cute, sweet and fun-loving little fluff of about two (years, that is) who weighs 10 pounds and has what my foster Mom calls puppy spunk! I’m a bit goofy and quite smiley. Mostly I’m a darling little guy who thrives on attention and activity!

I’ve already earned a reputation for being amazing (or is that omazing?) on my walks. Mom and I walk for about five miles a day. I love being in the outdoors where I can see all kinds of things and enjoy the sun and surf, the flora and fauna, people and pets. I simply love to go for walks —and am what Mom calls ‘a natural.’ And I’m a good boy who is also housebroken —and that is not a typo!

There are lots of sounds that are new to me —and they concern me. Like when loud cars drive by or if a door slams. Mom says we’re working on something called ‘sensitization’ and I’m learning that I’m safe and the sounds won’t hurt me. You see when you are so little, everything is that much bigger and scarier to someone as small as I am.

While I’m a cute and fluffy puppy, I do something that is pretty unique to pups (hold on and I’ll tell you all about it!) You see, I can walk on my back legs (for quite a distance too!) When I do, I look like a meerkat. Now you probably know that Meerkats have these cute little faces (like I do) and they also walk on their back legs. Standing and walking on my back legs lets me see much higher. In fact, doing that lets me see what Mom is looking at too! That’s also very helpful when I’m trying to locate where she is in the house! And then since I look so darn cute, she simply has to pick me up and cuddle with me!

My entire world revolves around my person or people. I want to be near my special person always and do everything I can to please him or her. Mom says that makes me the best companion— and I thrive on the attention.

After a busy and active day I love sitting close and cuddling on the couch until it’s time to go to sleep on the Big People’s Bed. And I’m really, really good! I don’t bark or wake up until you do! I’m just content to be safe, warm and loved.
