Hello Everyone!

Cooper is a bichon/cocker mix who is 3 1/2 years old, currently fostered in San Diego and who needs on-going training (according to our trainer.) He was surrendered to us about 2 weeks ago as his owner was getting married and the fiance did not want Cooper.

Cooper’s foster Dad has a family emergency and is flying out on Jan. 2nd. We are looking for an experienced foster or foster to adopt, preferably with no other pups so that they/he/she can work on Cooper’s training issues.

Hello Everybody!

My name is Likeable and Lovable Leo — and I’m a go-with-the-flow, happy and friendly Cavachon pup who is a great companion and supreme snuggler! My BFK Aunties say I’m a Bichon/King Charles Cavalier mix who has the best qualities of both breeds. I’m good with children, adults and other dogs and I love to be near my people.

My foster Mom says I have puppy dog eyes that look at you with love and look deeply into your soul. When Mom was asked what I do that is cute she said “Everything.” (Aw geez Mom, that’s so nice to hear!) When she comes in the door I turn in happy circles to greet her. Then there’s my dinner ‘routine’. I hop on my back legs and twirl around looking pretty adorable. I also like to chomp on frozen vegetables. Mom says they are good for me and I like to make the way they ‘crunch’.

Did I mention that I’m also a very observant pup. If Mom is in the kitchen making dinner I lay at her feet. I also hang out when she’s getting ready. Then I hop up ready to follow her to the next location.

I’m also a great walker and rider. When Mom grabs her keys, I know we’re going to work. (I get to go with her and hang out all day.) I love getting in the car and lie perfectly still for the ride.That’s another thing that makes me a great companion. I’m what she calls ‘fully engaged’ with life.

I’m easy to train – and I certainly want to please! I’m learning lots of commands and am really good at “sit” (especially when a treat is offered) and “no”. Mom says I come when I’m called (that usually means a treat, some cuddles and pets) and that’s a good thing! I’m also getting the hang of commands like “down”, “roll over” and “stay.”

My Ideal Home:

* A yard to run and sun in
* Adults or a family

I adapt well to any environment, have an endearing and curious nature – and make myself right at home wherever I go. I’m hoping that there is somebody looking for a cute, easy-going, huggable, playful, and friendly pup who is a good listener, too. Likeable and Lovable Leo

Hello New Friends,

My name is Bedazzling and Bodacious Bentley– and I’m an adorable bichon pup about four months old. Mom says I am spunky, playful, fluffy, cuddly and loving. (She says that is a wonderful combination.) I’m a sweet pup who loves to lay my head on your shoulder and cuddle for all I’m worth (And that’s a LOT!)

Mom says I’m PUPALICIOUS! That’s her word for a puppy who is delicious. From the first time she saw me, she said I reminded her of a miniature polar bear (I’m only 14 pounds!) and am precious to the core. I do these cute little things like cocking my head when you talk with me, hopping like a little bunny and doing ‘Zoomies.’ I also love to play with toys (and especially fetch the ball) and am constantly on the go… until I drop. That makes me a pretty typical puppy!

If I had a motto Mom says it would be: Life is short – Play hard and Get Lots of Lovin’! I love to romp, but also think puppy naps are the best. I LOVE being with people and thrive on being part of all that is going on around me. While I love to play, play, play I also love to cuddle, snuggle and give doggy kisses.

I have a very spunky spirit and I’m a bit of a collector. (I’m known around my foster home for ‘borrowing’ slippers and flip flops and taking them to my bed or blanket! ) Outside I’m adventurous, but also cautious. There are a lot of new sounds that kind of scare me so Mom says I’m learning to get over those noises.

Dad says I’m a quick learner and I follow directions well. I’m crate trained and almost housebroken (He says I am learning very fast … and want to please!)

I’m a really happy little guy, (Mom says with a capital H) and very enthusiastic. As you can see from my pictures, I’m also VERY handsome! My perfect home will have people around most of the time – because having a special person I can love, adore (and play with!) is what I want most in the world!

Bodacious and Bedazzling Bentley

Hi Everyone!

I’m Beguiling Brodie and I want you to know that I love the world and all those in it! I am a handsome Bichon boy of five, with pure white puppy-soft hair, a smile for all I meet and big brown eyes that look straight into your soul- and melt your heart. (I give lots of doggy kisses, too!)

Mom says that I am an affectionate, loving, playful, sweet, gentle and good-tempered guy of about 16 pounds who LOVES people! Mom is a therapist and says I would make a great therapy dog! I’m affectionate and can’t resist the opportunity to get a caress– or a pat on the head. I also love to sit on your lap and take in all the love in the universe. She says, with a smile, that I’m a lap magnet – and that whenever she sits down I kind of melt into her lap, very happily!

Dad says I appreciate love and attention and that I have incredible energy and an infectious personality. He says I will nuzzle close to you and sleep curled up on or next to you. I walk beautifully, don’t pull and know what to do. I’m also a good listener and great companion! I like to be wherever my people are – but I’m not intrusive. If I can lie nearby, that is fine. If I can be in someone’s lap… well that is even better!!! I’m an energetic and great walker and love to go for rides (in the car, that is!). I want to go wherever you go. How’s that for being a great little guy?

I am really smart, very affectionate, like to be held and loved. You can take me everywhere as I just plain love to be with you! Mom says I have lots and lots of energy, want to please and make you happy. I already know several commands and want to learn more so please teach me! Dad says to tell you that I am a pretty amazing little guy who is a great companion.

Brodie, the Bubbly, Beguiling and Boyishly Charming Bichon

Hello World,

My name is Spectacular Sadie and I’m a delightful and adorable bichon girl of about seven or eight (years, that is.) who is sweet, happy, cuddly, friendly and eager to please – and almost 10 pounds of pure cuteness. (That’s what Mom says and you can see that I have already worked my charm on her – and I wasn’t even trying very hard!)

In the short time I’ve been a FurKid I have mastered the art of cuddling. If you’re a cuddler, you may have met your match! Want me to do a happy dance? Grab my leash and I’ll hop to the front door! After that, I’ll take my time to enjoy the stroll and smells of the great outdoors. And when I’m back, I’ll curl up beside you, drop my head on your chest, and cuddle for all I’m worth! And that’s a LOT!

When I came to Mom’s house, it wasn’t long before she fell in love. I taught her lots of things — like how to sleep on the back of the couch and to come when she’s called! (Oh silly me – that’s what I do!) Mom taught me to appreciate the value of a good pet, riding in the car and, of course, snuggling. Those are very good things!

Dad says I always have a smile on my face, I’m housebroken (I sit by the door to let you know I want to go out) and I’m a great Companion with a capital C! (Aw gee! That makes me feel all warm inside!)

I’m eager to please, very smart and fun to be with – because I’m a sweet, mellow and gentle little lady. Mom and Dad agree that I’m adorable, cute and a very special girl!

Besides being special in all the ways I’ve been described, I’m also special in one other way. I have these special teeny tiny pills that I have to take every day so that I won’t have this thing called a seizure. I haven’t had one in a while (now that I have my pills) and we hope I will not have any again. (That’s why I’m so glad I have my medicine.) If you didn’t know I had ever had one you certainly couldn’t tell: I’m just as active and happy and entertaining as other bichon pups.

My name is Elton John and I’m a colorful and cute little Maltese and Westie mix. I’m four years young and about 11 pounds of adorableness. My foster mom says I’m just about the cutest kid on the block. I exude cuteness. I personify cuteness. I am the epitome of cuteness. That’s what she says. (Can you tell she kind of likes me?)

Mom says that when I first met her I was a little shy and hesitant to approach. Well that changed pretty fast and she got to see the real me: an affectionate, loving, friendly and good-tempered little guy! I’m still shy at first when I meet new people – but then I warm up and can’t resist the opportunity to get a caress or a pat on the head. I also love to sit in her lap and take in all the love in the universe. Mom says I’m a lap magnet – and that when she sits down I melt into her lap!

My BFK Aunties say I’m curious, affectionate and very smart. I mastered the doggy door in no time use it ‘reliably’. (Mom’s doing a really good job so you’ll have to tell her!) And I am hoping to work with my new family to learn commands as I’m a ‘quick study’ who is willing and wants to please. In fact I mastered walking on the leash in no time and I love to ride in the car! Short rides or long rides – I love them all!

I would love to have my own family to share my joy and love, and a doggy brother or sister to learn from and play with. In return, I will do my best to keep everyone smiling and feeling important and loved. (That will be easy for me because whatever family adopts me will be my whole world.
