Fostered in San Diego
***
Hi New Friends!
My name is Bubbly and Bodacious Bodie –and I’m a lover and a keeper! You can adopt me straight away or foster-to-adopt me. I’m an adorable two-year-old bichon/poodle mix (some people say Bichipoo, and others say Poochon), about 22 pounds, full of energy, and excited about life. Mom says when I look up at you with my big brown eyes, you will know that I love you. Dad says I’m a sweet and gentle boy who is a snugglebug, eager to please and fun to have around. I love to go on walks and rides – and am very good-natured. Mom says I have a smile on my face all the time!
I am an affectionate guy who will follow you from room to room. I like to sit at your feet or be in your lap (and be petted, please.) Being with you and near you is vital to me because I’m very interested in people!
Because I’m very puppy-like, I’d like to find an active couple or family. I’m a bit of a diamond in the rough, but I have SO much potential! I just need someone who is active and can work with me. Mom says I can win anyone over with my charm! And you will see, very quickly, that I am very enthusiastic about life! While I’ll bark to let you know something is happening, I am not a barker – just a happy pup.
Mom says I’m working on being housebroken (I promise I haven’t broken anything), love my walks and LOVE people! I get excited to see and explore the big, wide wonderful world. Having a FurKid brother or sister would make my life simply perfect.
My Ideal Home:

*Another dog to show me the ropes
*Active adults or my very own family
*A nice yard to run in would be very much appreciated!

So if you are looking for a love of a guy who does great around kids of all ages, is great around other dogs and enjoys being outside in a grassy backyard, AND is sweet, gentle, affectionate and devoted, then look no further. I’ll be waiting to meet you too!
Loves and snuggles,
Bubbly and Blissful Bodie

Mom says I’m friendly, happy, exuberant (I don’t know exactly what that means, but she says it’s good), playful, and never aggressive. I’m always patient and ready to undertake any new adventure. You might say I’m ready, willing and able to be your adventure partner.
My Ideal Home:
I have a doggy foster sister and several doggy foster brothers but I am happiest when I can be the center of someone’s attention. While I can play and fit in nicely with the other FurKids, I can entertain myself equally well. I’m what you call an ‘only,’ which is pretty rare for a bichon, from what I hear.
My hair is growing back soft and silky and white. Soon I’ll be a little white cotton ball of a bichon. Because I’m very confident, I do well meeting new people, I just wag my tail and say ‘Hello’, ready to make new friends. Dad says I have the cutest way of wiggling when I walk too. I almost look like I’m walking sideways ‘cause I my body wiggles so much. (It’s truly adorable to watch!)

We are both potty trained and crate trained. (Dad calls it my ‘man cave’) and I certainly enjoy spending time with those little people called ‘children’. I’m much better with them than Lucy. She prefers being with the ones called ‘adults’. We are also very curious about the world– and how things work. Every day is another opportunity to learn more ways to make the humans around us smile.

Mom says I’m a great walker who loves cool mornings and early evenings. I like to take long walks around the lake –and love meeting people and pups along the way. Going to the dog park is also one of my most special things to do. It truly makes my day! There are always new friends to get to know and both the ones called ‘humans’ and those called ‘pups’ all fall in love with me (The two-legged ones tell Mom and Dad how amazing I am, too!)
